Planes, Planes and More Planes

So we went with some friends of ours to the Denton Air show last weekend. That was actually a ton of fun. It was hot for sure, but there was a great breeze that kept it bearable for the most part, with the help of some frozen lemonade too.

Nicholas has been really noticing airplanes lately because everyday when we come home we see the planes landing at DFW where they fly right over the freeway. He always points and says "airpane, airpane" he even knows what they sound like when he hears them. Lots of times I don't even see the plane and he is able to spot it so far in the distance that it amazes me. So I figured he was going to have a great time going to an"airpane" show. Which he did.

The fighter jets were the only thing he didn't really like and it wasn't the plane, but the noise. and it was LOUD when they would turn the jet aimed at us.

They had a coast guart rescue helicopter there too that they were letting the kids get in and look around. Nick got to sit in the driver seat.

With the pilot, they were really nice.
