Christmas in Austin

Its been a while since I posted pictures, so here to make up is quite a few. Christmas in Austin was a good time.

Nicholas is 3 months this week. I can't believe its been 3 months already! How time does fly when you are not counting down days until you're not pregnant anymore.

I was telling Keith the other day how every time I look at Nicholas he looks bigger. I turn around and all of a sudden he doesn't fit in his clothes anymore. I think its his diapers being too bulky, but its all an illusion. He is starting to figure out he has hands now, which is really funny because he sits there mesmerized by those things on the ends arms. Its very intense.

Here we are with cousin Oryin.
Uncle Bub is hogging all the baby time.

Here are all the Duderstadt boys, well minus 2 that are actually Harris, all you have to do is pick out the 1 guy with hair.

Family Christmas photo in Keith's Dad's backyard.

Here we are with Nanny Elaine.

Oh so you are the one they call Grandpa.

Big Daddy Bill is SO comfortable

Hey, kid, do I always have to take pictures with you?

Awwww....Lovin with Aunt Tara

Yep, here we are again....Oryin and Nicholas. Whats funny is the Oryin is 2 days older than Nicholas and I was going to pick up Oryin and almost threw him out the window because he is so much lighter than my baby made of lead. Nicholas is only 1 lb heavier, but apparently makes alot of difference. Maybe its the hair? HA!

The Jumperoo

So we tested out this jumparoo thing, OMG he LOVED it!!!

My First Christmas Tree

So this weekend we went and chopped down our Christmas Tree at Elves Christmas Tree farm in Denison, Tx. Yea we know Nicholas won't remember it, but we have pictures. Here is his first Christmas tree chopping experience.....that he slept all the way through.

Upon arrival, he was sleeping.....

Here we are on his first hay ride, that he slept through....growing boy

He is as big as a tree now, a Charlie Brown tree that is.....

Baptism

So Nicholas got Baptized this weekend. It took a lot of effort to get it all set up, but it really turned out to be a nice gathering of family for the special occasion.

All bundled up for the trip to the church. It snowed. Yep, in Texas.
OMG so cute in his baptism outfit. How handsome is that? Just like a little gentleman.

Godmother Aunt Cheri. Cuties.
Here he is being baptized. He didn't even budge when they poured the water over his head. Out of the 12 kids there the priest said he was the only one who didn't seem to mind getting a little wet, but I think its because he likes his baths so much.

Anointing of something. Sandlewood I think it was they had to put on his head. 3 days later and he still smells like it. At least he is cleansed of all original sin.

Here we are with the Godparents, Uncle Mark and Aunt Cheri. Thanks you guys for coming down to be here!

Great grandparents came too!

Great Maw-Maw came

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was fun times this year. Went to my moms house. My brothers were all home and my grandparents came in from St. Louis to visit. Lots of love to spread with a new baby around. Here is some before dinner cuddling with POP.

Before Dinner cuddling with Uncle Mikey, so cute!

Hummmm.....do I want turkey or ham? Oooo or both.

Yum, I think I'll have some jello please!

Oh fun times, after dinner nose picking with Uncle Bob. Only Uncle can pick a nose just right.

Holding his head up

At 5 weeks old Nicholas is getting pretty good at holding his head up himself! He is def. getting bigger. He actually fits in his car seat. And he weighed in at 8.13 lbs at his 1 month appointment.

Visitors from MinneSnowda

Joni, Al, Joni's mom and Taylor all stopped by on a layover flight through Dallas this past Sunday. Finally got to meet Taylor, what a cutie!!! Taylor is exactly 7 weeks older than Nicholas.
Awwww....... Nicholas is holding her hand! His first girlfriend. He likes women twice his age apparently!!!
