My Mommy is AWESOME!

We are 33 weeks pregnant. Just under 7 weeks left to go before baby girl arrives. Everything is looking good according to the doctor. I'm on track to have a final weight less than what I was at with Nicholas. That's always good news, that means less to have to work off. I'll tell you I can't wait to be able to run again. I'm so tired of getting tired from just going to the grocery store.

Anyway we are almost done with her baby room. My mom is SO excited. We have SO many boys in our family and she has been waiting 30 years to have another girl to go frilly with so naturally she is having a fabulous time making PINK stuff. I have to admit I love it too. I am walking though the baby clothes department with a whole other view of the world. I've trained myself to just ignore 3/4 of the store. I almost feel like I'm cheating, getting to look at the baby girls stuff. All the dresses, lace, stockings, bows..... its so exciting.

Anyway so we are done with the crib stuff. My mom made everything except the polka dot blanket on the right. The "theme" we picked was butterflies and flowers. My mom made the crib skirt, bumper and the quilt on the left. She is awesome! Thanks mom! We are so lucky to have your talent.

She even embroidered butterflies on the bumper pad, and they look so fantastic!

And here is the quilt she made. She even designed the pattern. Is it too cute!!

Keep checking back, I hope we will have the whole room completed by next weekend. Minus the curtains. We still haven't decided what we want to do with those. in the mean time I just have some cream sheers put up.

Christmas 2009

This will be quick. Few pics not much commentary. I'm feeling achy these days so less time in the computer chair is called for.

Pic day after Christmas at Keith's dad's ranch riding the tractor. It was a beautiful day.

Santa's stop at Nick's house. Brought him the biggest dump truck he's ever seen that he could play with.

Favorite gift from Muffin and Pops, a super cool helicopter.

Opening presents, he really got the hang of it this year. That was alot of fun. I think next year we can probably start doing "traditions" or starting new ones. Any suggestions on what everyone does for their kids?

Christmas foodage layout. Lots of yummies to be had.
Helping mommy decorate the Tree, notice the cluster of blue bulbs behind him. i was going to leave it like that but Nick ended up taking it all down. and then he thought he could take ALL the ornaments I put up down. Oh well, half the fun of the holiday right?
Merry Christmas everyone, and a Very Happy New Year!
